HBTS Direct Service Provider

The Children and Families Program at UCPRI is currently hiring part-time Direct Service Providers to implement Home-Based Therapeutic Services based on the needs of the individual and family. Services focus on behavior management, improving coping skills and safety, skill building, and social skills.

Reports to Clinical Supervisor assigned to family/child

 

 Requirements:

  • Must have reliable transportation, with current drivers license and state vehicle inspection

  • High School graduate or equivalent

  • Must pass a Rhode Island Criminal Background Check

Duties Include:

  • Duties will vary on needs of the child

  • Work with Clinical Supervisor to fulfill weekly and daily activities

  • Provide assistant with self-help and self-care activities

  • Coach child in safety skills and social skill development as needed

  • Engage in community based activities with child
